Namibia Oil and Gas has been honored with the prestigious Energy Media House of the Year 2025 award at the Namibia Energy Connect & Energy Trailblazer Awards. During the two-day event held in Windhoek from 04–05 November 2025, hosted by the Namibia Youth Energy Forum (NYEF). The prize recognizes the company’s for promoting awareness, transparency, and dialogue within Namibia’s growing energy sector.
The accolade was received by Mr. Cobus Theyse, one of the Founders of Namibia Oil and Gas, and Miss Teneal Goagoses, who oversees Content Management: Social Media and Website. The Namibia Energy Connect & Energy Trailblazer Awards brought together representatives from government, exploration companies, civil society and academia. The gathering served as an opportunity for the stakeholders to reflect on Namibia’s evolving energy landscape and the role of communication and knowledge-sharing in the sector’s progress.
Expressing her gratitude, Miss Teneal Goagoses said: “This recognition reflects our team’s commitment to creating a platform that informs, connects, and empowers not stakeholders but also the local community in Namibia’s growing energy space. We are proud to contribute to shaping conversations that support transparency, inclusion, and progress within the sector.”
The award reaffirms Namibia Oil and Gas’ position as a trusted information hub and advocate for knowledge exchange across the oil, gas, and energy ecosystem.
